Founder, Valerie Greene shared with David Hall,morning anchor, that Bcenter is where stroke survivors and caregiverscan turn to (following a stroke) for resources, hope and direction.The segment included suggestions for specific conventional andholistic treatments; and focused on the most important aspect ofrecovery: Never Give Up!
Orlando news anchors and reporters chose to make a stroke of genius fashion statement on October 29, 2014. Personalities from all five television networks wore yellow garments and/or accessories in support of the Bcenter's World Stroke Day efforts.

Hal Boedeker, aka "The TV Guy," covered the Bcenter's successful #AnchorsWearYellow campaign, an on-air and social media effort led by television personalities which generated buzz around World Stroke Day, an observance day (10/29/14) aimed at lowering stroke deaths and disability. Powered by stroke survivors, caregivers, and supporters, team Stroke for Strokes, sponsored by Global Stroke Resource (Bcenter.com) won the inaugural Stroke Awareness Cup at the 7th Annual Walgreens Orlando International Dragon Boat Festival on October 18, 2014 at Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake.In an effort to makes waves with stroke awareness efforts, GWN Dragon Boat, in partnership with the Central Florida Stroke Alliance, added the new 'stroke' division with participation from Global Stroke Resource, Health Central, and Orlando Health, totaling four amateur boat crews.
