After championing a grassroots movement aimed to enhance stroke recovery for survivors and caregivers, Valerie Greene's Bcenter.com is pleased to announce its new, official designation as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Founder Valerie Greene, 49, personally overcame grim diagnostic odds in the aftermath of two debilitating strokes that nearly took her life at just 31 years of age.
Valerie Greene appeared on Retrospect, a Cox Radio program (5 market stations) hosted by Beth Perrell. During the interview, Beth revealed how Valerie's perseverance transformed Bcenter.com into a non-profit service impacting the lives of many stroke survivors and caregivers around the world.

Encouraging and applauding both patients and graduate students of the speech-language pathology program, she shared her recovery journey having completely lost her ability to speak after her massive stroke she could not even utter a sound.
